Experiment. Light travelling
In class, show that light travels in a straight line: Cut out three cardboard rectangles 15 cm high by 5 cm wide. Make a small hole in the centre of each rectangle. Put the rectangles in a line, about 5 cm apart. Shine a torch on the first rectangle so that its light passes through the hole. If we place a piece of paper behind the last rectangle, we will see a circle of light in the centre of the paper. [...]
