After discovering their pen pal’s country (its characteristic places, events and customs) and learning to describe their own environment, the students are ready to gather information about another very important aspect of a foreign country: its gastronomy.
They are preparing for a trip and need to know which type of things they are going to eat when they arrive to their pen pal’s country. Besides, they will reflect on the typical dishes from their city or country.
In conclusion, recipes, ingredients and gastronomic variety will be recurrent topics through the sequence.
