This song by Avril Lavigne is about teenage relationships. She accuses her partner of being different when his friends are around. We can listen to vocabulary about friendship and self-consciousness and we can talk about gangs and social behaviour. The video portrays destructive behaviour in a shopping center, maybe as a metaphorical reaction to consumer society. In the exercise we are asked to fill in the gaps in the lyrics.
