This lesson introduces students to the concept of ratio through a hands-on, delicious experiment. After an introductory activity where students identify the ratio of girls to boys in a group of 10 selected students, they create six different peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with different ingredient ratios to find which is the tastiest. Students then plan their own similar experiment using other concoctions which can be expressed in ratios. NSD
