The Euro-Mediterranean Partnership: bringing people closer together

Ten years ago the EU with its Mediterranean Partners, set out an ambitious plan to strengthen and develop the EuroMed region. Its ultimate ambition: to bring people together, to turn this region into an area of dialogue and co-operation guaranteeing peace, stability and prosperity. Despite regional conflicts, this process continues - The EuroMed partnership is the only forum where all the ministers of the region meet - outside of the Middle East Peace Process, including both the Palestinians and Israelis.
