Video: The Suburbs

This 6 minute clip is taken from the film "The Suburbs" by Spike Jonze. The soundtrack is by Arcade Fire and we are asked to fill in the gaps in the lyrics. A full transcription and notes are available. From the images we can guess the story of a group of teenagers who used to play with toy rifles and who end up experiencing real raids and shootings. We can use it as starting point to talk about feelings, upbringing and violence.
